 Bono's Israel Project
In January of 2007 the Lord launched Bono's ministry in a new and unique direction. Until this time, Israel had only been thought of as a long ago location in God's Word. But, in these last days we see that Israel still plays a vital role in God's Will as it unfolds. They are still God's Chosen People. Now, glory be to God, you and I become a part of this family by the sacrifice and shed blood of God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 11:11-36 tells us that God is using the salvation of the Gentiles to make Israel envious. It also says that we, Christians, are a wild olive shoot that has been grafted into the tree of Israel. It is God's heart and plan in these last days that the two "branches" or "trees" would become one; that Christians and Jews would come together. Ultimately, the blinded eyes of God's Chosen Ones will be opened. It is our privilege and responsibility as Believers in "Yeshua" to love, minister to, and work alongside this special nation, Israel. At Bono, we seek to do this in a number of ways: by forming new relationships with Israel as the Lord opens doors, by supporting financially works in Israel, by educating the Body of Christ concerning their roots in Judaism, by traveling to Israel when possible, etc. Please, pray for us in this endeavor and contact us if we can help you in any way concerning this mandate from God (Psalms 122:6).
