Four elements will be a part of each meeting: Welcome Worship Word Works What about my children? BRING THEM...this is a Family Affair! What do I need to bring? Bring a Bible, your family, a friend, maybe a snack, and a willing Spirit! Lighthouse Mission Statement Bono “Lighthouses” are home groups planted in the communities of Bono for three purposes: 1) that deeper RELATIONSHIPS may be established, growing the Gospel community at Bono 2) that RESTORATION may take place within the safety of close “family” groups that strive for intimacy and trust 3) that RENEWAL may take place in our hearts and minds, leading to transformed lives and the joy of salvation These “Lighthouses” will bring families and individuals together for fellowship, the reading of the word, and for prayer. They will also serve to encourage the Bono family in pursuing holiness. The home groups will serve as accountability and practice practical ministry within Bono’s various communities. Each group will be an extension of the ministry of Bono Baptist Church and will participate in building up each other in brotherly love.

“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, FOR THE EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS FOR THE WORK OF SERVICE, TO THE BUILDING UP OF THE BODY OF CHRIST; until we all attain to the UNITY of the faith, and of the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine; by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects to Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the WHOLE BODY, BEING FITTED AND HELD TOGETHER BY WHAT EVERY JOINT SUPPLIES, ACCORDING TO THE PROPER WORKING OF EACH INDIVIDUAL PART, CAUSES THE GROWTH OF THE BODY FOR THE BUILDING UP OF ITSELF IN LOVE.”
